G'day Guys .... I found your site and watched the clip from the Dandy Workers Club .... fantastic !!
I knew Danny quite well having hired the band in the '80's to perform for our Hot Rod Club 'Rock n Roll Rodders' ... the last time i saw Danny was at a Rod Run Dance in Mornington.
We all had a favorite of his , mine was American Triology ... way back Derek Gray (Elvis Fan Club) banned Danny from singing it at the St Kilda Town Hall which pissed me off no end , so we hired the band to perform at the (now demolished) Fern Tree Gully Tech with the contract stating the band had to perform American Trioligy twice .... that particular night was on of the best ever .
I moved up bush in '88 and it wasnt until March '03 i attended Jailhouse Rock n Roll Festival in Ararat , i heard a band performing on the street outside the Post Office ... I couldnt see them as i walked up the street but instantly knew the voice ... as Danny came into sight he glanced my way and waved , on completion of the number he was performing he told the audience " I gotta do a song for an ol friend" and did American Triology ..... I was shocked that after so many years he even remembered me let alone my fav song.
The new lineup looks great and as i note you'll be fairly regular at the Dandy Club and having a good mate in Dandy and a Club member we'll make the effort to get to Melb and see you live and introduce myself.

Hi guys we have followed the band for some time now and new Danny well. he was great, one of the best around , and to hear that Michael
is keeping the band going is fantastic news , i saw the footage on the youtube link and its scary, you cant half tell Michael is Dannys son.
The last time we saw Michael play was in albury it was great to see him when he performed over the rainbow it was fantastic it brought back so many memories,
We were so disapointed to hear that flashback is not playing there this year because another band has been placed them, we hope that this is not permanent
as my wife and i look forward to seeing flashback there as its close to home for us could you let us no when you will be there again as we and alot of friends would love to see the band again .

To all the guys in flashback , we last seen the band around the middle of 2011 as we recall michael was great to listen to , it brought back memories.
My wife and i happend to be in town for flashbacks gig at the dandy workers in january and let me say that danny would have been proud
of the show his son michael put on, michael and the guys where great , i have to say that i havnt seen the club with so many people in it. we could
hardly move , michael was walking around dancing and singing. the guys on stage where full of life ,job well done guys and im sure that
we will be seing plenty more of you guys in the near future.

Hi Michael glad to see you keeping up the good work,I remember long ago when I started to follow the band I got to know your father well,
I remember back in the Chelsea RSL days, you would have been a teenager then and your father would get you up to sing, everyone would
always say to him ( watch out Danny his young and good ) your father would all ways say his got alot to learn yet and laugh .
Michael I know your father would be so happy and proud to see that your up there doing what he loved most , you sound so much like your father and I know you will take the band forward, I’m sure you will add your own touch to it as well.
Flashback would have to be one of the most well known bands around Victoria , I use to love listning to him sing (you gave me a mountain) he would sing it so well.
When I had alook at the flashback website i was happy to see that the band is moving forward, am very impressed with the way the site is set up.
I wasn’t at the Dandenong Social Club but I heard very good reports from friends that attended, I looked at the video clip and was impressed.
My wife was very upset when we read that you are playing at the Dandenong club once every two months now , i will be calling the club to ask why they have done that to a band that draws such a good crowd every month , it doesn't make sense to me , anyway i will keep in touch and I will make sure I’m at the Dandenong club in March.

Hello just an email to say that the band sounded fantastic at the social club ,michael did a lovely job, and I couldnt believe my eyes when I saw John up there and then to here him sing elvira I remember when he was in flashback many years ago singing that song and danny would always make crazy sounds during the song it was great , I loved it ,the band looked very much alive that night , it was almost like stepping back in time.

Thanks Jackie we appreaciate your kind thoughts but please keep your comments nice, however sometimes these things happen for a reason.
The band has been rehearsing well and has become a very tight unit, now with the introduction of Ray Quon on keybord the sound is better than its ever been , Ray brings with him so much experience, mixing it with The Big O and Jean Pitney etc you just couldnt help but be good.

Unfortunatley you got a little too personal toward a certian member of the old Flashback and I had to do a heavy edit, but yes the band is sounding terriffic, we are so lucky to have a voice like Michael to take over from his dad.

To all you guys in Flashback I want to say I‘m very impressed with the way the band has come along since last year,
Flashback was the number one band and I know that Michael will give it his best to get it back on top.
If I may say one thing to young Michael, it would be to learn some new songs for the band, I’ve been told he has allready started learning new songs
but i just thought I’d throw that in lol. Michael you have a very sexy voice and I love the new sound hon

Good morning all at Flashback, it’s good to see the website has been updated.
My partner and I have booked to come and see you at the Dandenong workers, we really miss you now that is every 2nd month, it’s a real shame that the band that you have been cut back.
One would think that who ever runs the show is not thinking about numbers through the door you guys have been packing them in for years.
I’m a member of the club and was not happy at all when I turned up to see you boys and was confronted with an unknown playing there, I was told when I booked the table that flashback was playing, I complained and left.
